The Kelloggsville school district hosted its ninth annual Community Pride Festival on Friday, September 14.

Activities and food were available from 4:30-7 p.m. at Kelloggsville Middle School, 4650 S. Division St.

A Kelloggsville High School varsity football home game followed at 7 p.m.

Many school and community organizations had booths set up to raise money or raise awareness about opportunities and services available in the community.

One booth represented a YEZ Service-Learning Project.  The Kelloggsville Community Garden, lead by teacher Mike Zurgable, had some of the produce grown available for people to take home. Other fresh produce was donated by local farmers.  Culinary Arts students from GRCC made fresh salsa from the produce and gave out samples to all who attended.
